Lou Conron – Bio
Lou Conron was born in Kendal, England but grew up in Southern Alberta, spending much of her early years outdoors, horseback riding, hiking and camping. Art was always present in her household, as her Mother was an artist and together they spent many hours working in oils, graphite and pastel and later in watercolour. Lou is mostly self taught and has been greatly influenced by the work and books of Linda Kemp, Nita Engel and Roland Roycraft. She has also done workshops with Brent Laycock and Juve Furtado. Lou is a working exhibitor at the Courtyard Gallery in Enderby, BC, as well as a member of the Salmon Arm Paint and Sketch club, Salmon Arm Art Gallery and Armstrong Spallumcheen Museum and Arts Society, As well as wall art, Lou does hand painted original watercolour cards and sells at The Courtyard Gallery in Enderby, Wildwood Flowers and Gifts in Salmon Arm and Hidden Gems Bookstore also in Salmon Arm.
